Netomo legal
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 18, 2026
This policy explains how FTSN, LLC collects, uses, shares, and deletes data through the Netomo website, web application, and iOS application.
Data we collect
- Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, and session data.
- Profile and preference data: name, biography, companion settings, notification choices, and plan status.
- Conversation data: messages, generated replies, message status, conversation summaries, memory facts, and content safety results.
- Voice and audio data: text sent for speech generation and generated audio. Your browser or device speech service handles speech recognition. An accepted voice partial can remain in a device-only conversation draft until you send or clear it. Sent dictated text becomes conversation data. On the web, your browser can send microphone audio to its speech service under the browser provider's privacy terms.
- Device and notification data: push token, device platform, app version, notification state, and recent activity times.
- Optional usage and diagnostic data: If you turn on app analytics, we collect feature events, errors, request times, browser or operating-system data, network data, and Internet Protocol address.
- Device storage: session data and preferences in cookies, browser storage, or native application storage. The web app can also cache recent conversation data. A device-only draft can include unsent typed or recognized text. The iOS app does not store its private server conversation cache on disk.
- Subscription data: product, entitlement, renewal, expiration, and RevenueCat customer identifiers. Apple processes payment card data.
We do not request precise location data.
How we use data
- Authenticate your account and protect the service.
- Generate text and voice responses.
- Remember conversation context and selected preferences.
- Apply safety controls and enforce daily usage limits.
- Manage subscriptions, service email, and requested notifications.
- If you turn on app analytics, analyze that data to find errors and improve Netomo.
- Meet legal duties and prevent abuse.
Service providers
We send data to providers when their service is necessary for the purposes above. The provider can process personal data under its own privacy terms and our service agreement.
- Clerk: authentication and email sign-in.
- Vercel: web hosting and server functions.
- Neon: managed database hosting.
- OpenRouter: AI model routing and response generation.
- OpenAI: content safety analysis.
- Inworld: generated speech.
- Amazon Web Services: audio storage and service email.
- PostHog: optional product analytics and diagnostics.
- RevenueCat: subscription status and purchase events.
- Apple: iOS distribution, payments, speech recognition, and push notifications.
The selected AI model can receive your current message, recent conversation context, profile details, and saved memory. Inworld receives response text that requires audio.
Other disclosures
We can disclose data when the law requires it, to protect people or the service, or during a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale.
We do not sell personal data for money.
Retention and deletion
We keep account, preference, conversation, and generated audio data while your account is active. You can delete messages or your account from Account settings.
An unsent device draft remains until you send or clear it, or until the application data is removed from the device.
Account deletion removes active account data from our systems and requests deletion from connected identity and storage services. Provider backups and legal records can remain for limited retention periods.
We keep a minimal deletion marker with the identity identifier and former internal account identifier. This marker prevents deleted data from being recreated and lets a failed identity deletion resume. It does not contain profile or conversation content.
Uninstalling Netomo stops application activity on that device. It does not delete your account, subscription record, server data, or provider records.
Your choices
- Change your profile, companion, voice, and notification settings in Netomo.
- Turn on optional app analytics in Account settings. App analytics stay off until you turn them on. This choice stays on your device.
- Disable microphone or notification permission in device settings.
- Delete conversation history or your account in Account settings.
- Cancel a subscription through your Apple account.
- Ask a privacy question through the contact address below.
Depending on your location, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal data. We can verify your identity before we answer a request.
Security and international processing
We use access controls, encrypted network transport, signed sessions, and service monitoring. No security method can prevent every risk.
Our providers can process data in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws can differ between these countries.
Age limit
Netomo is for adults who are at least 18 years old.
Contact us if you believe a person under 18 gave us personal data. We will investigate and delete data when required.
Policy changes
We can update this policy. We will update the effective date and give additional notice when applicable law requires it.
